To lob or not to lob, that is the question.

Ok, so my hair is getting long, and I mean really long.

I have practically had long hair the whole of my teenage life so far and to be quite honest i am getting bored of it and I want and need a change.

So to lob or not to lob, that is the question.

The lob or long bob is the hairstyle I’m leaning towards because of it’s healthy, light look to it. Here are some celebs such as Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Beyonce, Kate Mara and Lucy Hale all rocking the look…

And here is some Pinterest inspiration…

I have natural blonde hair so my hair is quite thin. Any advice to what I should ask for in my hairdresser would be greatly appreciated!!!!

P.S if I do go through with this be sure to look out for a blog post! xx

  1. The style looks lovely! You should do it.–it’ll grown back out if you end up not liking it. Also, I just recently made a bold change with my hair too! 🙂 It takes some getting used to, but it will pay off in the end!

  2. I’ve been considering whether or not to cut my hair too. Most days mine ends up pulled back, but if I cut it too short I won’t be able to pull it up out of my way, especially when my son wants to grab it, lol. So I understand how hard it is to decide, but the cut looks cute and looks like I’d be able to pull it back if I need to. Mine used to be even longer than it is now, but at one point I did a reverse bob for quite a few years. Good luck!

  3. I lobbed (is that a word?) my hair last year and totally loved it. I have stringy thin blonde hair and made the cut. Then I grew it out and now it’s as long as the gal in the last picture you have here. I keep thinking, hmm, maybe I should lob it again, but then again, having long hair is nice as I can finally braid it!
